CANCER & HYPNOTHERAPY: Cancer patients suffer from a variety of distressing symptoms including pain, breathlessness, vomiting, skin irritation, out bursts of anger, insomnia and depression. Where one or more of these symptoms fail to respond to medication it may be very helpful to use clinical hypnotherapy to reduce their severity. Prior to chemotherapy patients often develop nausea and may even vomit, hypnotherapy has been shown to be an extremely effective way of counteracting these symptoms. Hypnotherapy is used to greatly reduce pain levels.
If you think you are at risk from cancer, discuss it with your GP, or get yourself MOT`d at the Mary How Trust, they will screen you for potential health risks and give you a detailed picture of your current state of health.
They are an independent, non-profit making charity and receive No Funding from the NHS. They depend entirely on donations and fundraising, each screening costs them up to £180.00 but you can make your own donation.
